Can I cancel my shipment?
For a single car shipment, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your vehicle's scheduled pickup with a full refund of your flat service fee. If canceled within 24 hours of scheduled pickup, your flat service fee is non-refundable.
For multiple car shipment orders, we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for date changes or cancellations. A $100 fee per vehicle will be applied for changes or cancellations on both the fixed and flexible services.
How does Della accept payment?
For the flexible service, transport costs will be paid directly to the carrier at the time of delivery. Payment options include cash, Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, money order, or cashier's check. Personal checks are not accepted. The flat service fee of $100 is paid to Della Transport directly via Venmo or Cashapp when we book your vehicle transport with the carrier.
For the fixed service fee, Della Transport will be paid directly and will make payment to the carrier on your behalf after the vehicle has been delivered.
How should I prepare my vehicle for shipping?
It's essential to have as much information as possible when shipping your vehicle. If your vehicle is to be picked up from a business, dealer, or auction, verify that your vehicle will be released at pickup prior to the carrier's arrival. Ensure the pickup location contact knows what's necessary if the vehicle will be released by someone other than the owner.
To ensure safety during transport, your vehicle must be empty during transit. If necessary items are inside the vehicle, they should be documented and communicated to the carrier at pickup. Della Transport is not responsible for lost, stolen, missing, or replaced items in your vehicle. It's recommended that all customers contact their vehicle insurance company for additional transportation coverage.
How is my vehicle shipping cost calculated?
The cost of shipping your vehicle depends on several factors. The distance between the origin and destination is a significant factor contributing to the total rate. The type and condition of the vehicle being shipped also play a role. The date your vehicle will be ready for transport is another factor.
Additional options, such as enclosed carrier and top-load service, can be added to your shipment.

What is door-to-door service?
Door-to-door service means that your vehicle is picked up and delivered directly from your home or business. The carrier comes to your specified address for pickup and delivery, providing convenience and ease.
What is open transport?
Open transport is the most cost-effective way to ship a car. It's the industry standard for vehicle transport, offering a safe and reliable option. Most dealers and corporate relocation services use this service.
What is enclosed transport?
Enclosed transport is used for valuable vehicles or when customers want to protect their cars from road debris and natural elements. This specialized service is often used by high-end auto dealers and offers extra protection, albeit at a higher cost.
What is expedited transport?
Expedited transport is used by customers who require last-minute shipping or need specific pickup dates. It's designed for those who have tight timelines.
Do you provide services for businesses and individuals?
Yes, we offer our services to a range of customers, including auto dealers, auctions, military personnel, individuals and families relocating, college students moving to new cities, snowbirds, and car buyers looking to purchase vehicles from other locations.

What are the differences between fixed and flexible service fees?
The fixed service fee is tailored to specific customer needs, such as specific pickup dates, specialty vehicles, enclosed transport, oversized vehicles, and more. All payments are made directly to Della Transport, and you'll never pay more than your quoted price.
The flexible service fee includes a $100 flat service brokerage fee and is based on current market value rates. It's suitable for customers with flexible pickup and delivery dates.
Do you accommodate customers with non-standard vehicles, such as oversized or non-factory modified vehicles?
Yes, we provide solutions for customers with unique vehicle requirements. Our fixed service fee is tailored to accommodate non-standard vehicles.
Can you transport multiple vehicles for businesses and individuals?
Yes, we offer services for single and multiple vehicle transport. For businesses and individuals with multiple vehicles to transport, we can coordinate the logistics to ensure all your vehicles are transported efficiently.
